IPL 2021 postponed by BCCI because of Covid-19 ” On Monday, L Balaji, Chennai Super Kings bowling coach and Kolkata Knight Riders bowlers Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier had returned positive results for COVID-19″. So, IPL 2021 cancelled on Monday but on Tuesday, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha was tested positive for coronavirus. Then, BCCI announced the IPL 2021 postpones news. This decision was taken only for safety, health and wellbeing of all the players and staff of IPL 2021.

Which IPL Players Are Covid Positive ?

There are a total of 4 players and staff members of CSK are positive for covid at this time. Two KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) players, Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier. One CSK bowling coach Lakshmipathy Balaji and some Chennai Super Kings travel team support staff members are among those who have tested positive for the virus.

CSK squad was put in isolation and this is also one reason of IPL postponed. At first, on monday BCCI only cancelled one match between KKR and RCB but players infected regularly. This IPL 2021 cancelled news are not good for all the players of IPL 2021 because Australian government banned travel services. So, David Warner, Pat Cummins, Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell Australian players are in trouble. Some support staff members also came from Australia and stuck in India because of IPL postponed. In this difficult time, government should think about it and do something for them in a short time.
